A substantial heritage of over 60,000 volumes, a collection of almost 2,000 books from the sixteenth to the nineteenth centuries, the "Permanent Exhibition of Ancient Books" (works by Plato, Aristotle, Seneca, Ovid, Titus Livy, etc.), the Exhibition Halls embellished with an admirable cycle of alchemical-themed paintings (the only existing testimony of Franciscan alchemical iconography), the cast of the original "Oscan Tablet" (4th century BC), a fascinating artifact and quintessence of Samnite language and religiosity.
